Film Director & judge, Sara Sugarman, a message for all participants Dear Young and New Film makers, Congratulations! You have made a movie! Never wait for permission to make a film, keep doing what you have done, initiated and seen through from start to finish, your own work. For this reason, you are ALL artists. Never lose this enthusiasm and ambition. Prizes and awards are helpful because they help others see your work but do not judge yourself by awards because these are always other people's opinion of your work. The most important thing is what you have already achieved, you are 'doing it'. How many people can say that? Congratulations everyone who made a movie and is showing it today. Best wishes, Sara Sugarman (fellow film maker) |
